Wow! This series just seems to get better and better. I’m more in love with the characters than ever before. Nelson and Eris… GAH!!! I’m telling you, I had some heart attacks there, but… GAH! This brings us more knowledge on Giva, Eris twin lucient sister. We get to meet her and her family through dreams shared to Eris. The family that Giva has grown up in is a stark reality difference than what Eris had grown up in. Where Eris’s home life was abusive and lacked any type of love, Giva seemed to almost drown in love and support. Understanding even.

Where Eris’s true background had been hidden from here, Giva had full knowledge of it.

There are many differences between the sisters, but what struck me most different were their personalities. Not just in how they carried themselves – Eris was shy and timid. Giva was confident and outgoing. – but also in the way they thought about situations and people. Eris is more empathic, where Giva almost seems cold and distant from it all.

This story had my stomach in knots because I feared for two of the characters… That’s all I’ll say about that, but I hated the uncertainty. Grrrr. I can’t say I’m appeased by the ending, because I’m far from it. I want book 3 and I want it now!

This series is truly engaging and keeps you turning the pages to find out what’s going to happen next. One of the things I’m super picky about when reading paranormal is that I need to believe in what the author is writing. I need to believe so much that it seems plausible. Not be so far out in left field that you struggle to even picture it. The author had NO problem at all pulling this off. Pulling on everyday fears and making it almost seem to have an explanation lying within her words. That’s talent there!

I can’t wait to read more on these wonderful characters. Book 3 (the rest of the damn series) can’t come soon enough. I need to know what happens!
