Keyes Dixon’s life is challenging enough as a full patch member of the Disciples of Havoc
Motorcycle Club but being a gay biker leaves him traveling down one tough road. With an abusive past and his vow to the club cementing his future, he doesn’t believe in love and steers clear of commitment. But a midnight ride leads to a chance meeting with a sexy pretty-boy in a wicked hot sports car that has him going down quicker than a Harley on ice.
Cocky Assistant District Attorney Alec Pierce lives in the shadow of his politically connected family. A life of privilege doesn’t equal a life of love, a fact made obvious at every family gathering. Driven yet lonely, Alec yields to his family’s demands for his career path, hoping for the acceptance he craves. Until he meets a gorgeous biker who tips the scales in the favor of truth…and he can no longer live a lie.
Can two men from completely different worlds…and sides of the law…find common ground, or will all their desires only wreak Havoc?

So, I’ll start out by saying that this is the first book by Kindle Alexander that I’ve read. Going into this book Ii had no idea what to be expecting. Didn’t know a thing about the writing style or anything. I’ve been told many good things on her books. When this tour came along, I figured I’d jump on the chance to branch out on my authors.

Now, having said that, I opened the book not really knowing what I was in for. Keyes is in a biker gang. No, sorry not gang… club. LOL He is likable from the start. You get the right away that he is constantly going, getting nothing from his father but grief, and that he’s a bit socially awkward.

Then you have Alec, who is the exact opposite. He can be around people. Speaks intelligently and has an easy going life, by money standards anyway. As a district attorney, he’s definitely no novice to showdowns. However, he can’t face up to his family and just goes with the flow to make them happy.

What these two men have in common was not something obvious right away, but as a reader we see that quicker than the characters do LMAO!!! These two men both prefer to be invisible. Sure for different reasons but invisible all the same.

The book started semi fast speed for me. Not that it was a bad thing, just moments that I wished had been extended but weren’t was all. It wasn’t enough to make you feel like you’re missing anything. The opposite actually, just wanted more was all. I know, as both a reader and author, that there’s a fine line of overdoing and underdoing a character/story. Neither were done. LOL Just my connection to Keyes and Alec was pretty quick and I’d loved to have had so much more. That details great writing.

So, Keyes’ shop gets turned upside down by the authorities and he doesn’t know what the hell is going on. It’s this moment that sends him into the path of Alec…

The story that follows these 2 men as they try to carve out the path for them against the lives they have separately, well… It’s engaging and I ate every single page up as I hurried to see what was happening next. This was definitely a good book to start with for my first Kindle Alexander read. I can’t wait to see what the rest of this series has in store. I’m excited to see what the rest of the series has in store. A definite recommended read for those that love untouchable men on men action. *wink*

Author Bio:

Best Selling Author Kindle Alexander is an innovative writer, and a genre-crosser who writes classic fantasy, romance, suspense, and erotica in both the male/male and male/female genres. It’s always a surprise to see what’s coming next!

I live in the suburbs of Dallas where it’s true, the only thing bigger than an over active
imagination, may be women’s hair! Usually, I try for funny. Humor is a major part of my life – I love to laugh, and it seems to be the thing I do in most situations – regardless of the situation, but jokes are a tricky deal… I don’t want to offend anyone and jokes tend to offend. So instead I’m going to tell you about Kindle.

I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I’ll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died – weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn’t have to be alone.

That time in my life was terrible. It’s everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.

Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness – it was her name and she died a few weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindle ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it..

It never happened.

Through the course of that crippling event I was lucky enough to begin to write with a dear friend in the fan fiction world of Facebook. She got me through those dark days with her unwavering support and friendship. There wasn’t a time she wasn’t there for me. Sometimes together and sometimes by myself, we built a world where Kindle lives and stands for peace, love and harmony. It’s its own kind of support group. I know without question I wouldn’t be here today without her.
